Established in 1855, the Doveton schools on Ritherdon Road, Vepery are among Chennai's oldest Anglo-Indian legacy institutions, today running six schools under one management. These include the Doveton Boys' and Girls' Higher Secondary Schools (Tamil Nadu State Board), separate ICSE/ISC boys' and girls' schools at No.12/12A Ritherdon Road, and a Matriculation school in Kodungaiyur. Classes run from Standard I to XII with specialised streams at the +2 level.
