About this school
Founded in 1875 by the Patrician Brothers to educate children of British settlers in Madras, the school moved in 1885 from Armenian Street to the expansive Elphinstone Park estate in Adyar. Co-education was extended up to Standard XII in 1993 and the school runs LKG through higher secondary. Two of its past pupils were in the Indian team at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics.
