About this school
One of Gujarat's oldest surviving educational trusts, C. N. Vidyavihar traces to 1912 and its Ambawadi campus was named Vidyavihar in 1938; its education philosophy is explicitly rooted in Gandhian values. The campus houses Shishuvihar, Bal Vidyalaya, Kishore Vidyalaya and the Gujarati-medium Vidyalaya alongside a CBSE English-medium school, plus D.El.Ed., B.Ed. and Fine Arts training colleges. Around 4,500 students study across its institutions, which also include a computer centre, sports academy and Kalaniketan.
